Getting to Bendigo

With reduced fares and increased services, it’s easy to get to Bendigo by V/Line train or coach as well as local buses and the airport shuttle from Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport.

The city centre is just a 10 minute walk from the Bendigo Station and if you need a lift, your valid V/Line ticket can be used on the Trainlink bus from the station into Mitchell Street. Of course there are plenty of taxis and hire cars to get you further afield.

Over the Christmas holidays there are changes to the V/Line timetable so please check, especially if you’re travelling on Christmas, Boxing or New Years Day.

FREE V/LINE TRAVEL
V/Line travel will be free all day and night on 25 December and for services arriving into Melbourne after 6pm on December 31 and the first timetabled V/Line services departing Melbourne on January 1, 2008.
